Selling your products on our platform doesn’t mean that we control how you offer your products. Unlike our competitors, we don’t enforce haphazardly chosen maximum prices, nor do we define the duration of your paid licenses for you. We’re a creator-first company so you’ll always have the freedom to choose how long your licenses last and what price they can be renewed for.
Customising your license duration is only possible for paid products.
There are many reasons you may want to offer a license that doesn’t last forever, with the main reason being that many creators find it to be much more lucrative to have existing buyers repurchase your product. For resources you provide regular improvements and updates to, along with great support, it makes sense to have temporary licenses.
It’s important to note that these licenses are merely a license to download. In other words, once a user’s license to the resource has expired, they will be able to continue using it, however, they will no longer be able to download the product or its updates from our platform and will be required to renew their license in order to do so.
